Queens emcee Ali Vegas brought some friends up to RIOC to chat with DJ Eclipse about his latest album, Just Let Me Rhyme. Mentored at a young age by rap veterans Onyx, Vegas signed to Columbia Records in the 2000s and dropped his first single “Theme of NY”. He’s worked with Trackmasters and Kanye West, among many other greats. In 2005, Vegas partnered with childhood friend Lamar Odom and founded Rich Soil Entertainment. Vegas’ album Just Let Me Rhyme, includes production from Snowgoons and Audible Doctor, along with guest features from Saigon, Fredro Starr (Onyx), and more. Check out this freestyle with Reek Da Villian, A.Dash, Prince Omar, and Ali Vegas.
