Staten Island royalty came through RIOC last week. Pop The Brown Hornet who many will remember from his classic 90s joint “Black On Black Crime” stopped by with his son Don Dollars to promote his new album “Foreman Mandela”. The album is almost entirely produced by Haas G (UMC’s) aka Fantom Of The Beat. Fantom as well came through with Rhymrcka to talk about Fantom’s upcoming producer album. In addition to discussing new music we talked about the early days of Staten Island Hip Hop, tracing their roots back to producer RNS and even going as far back as Force MCs (MDs).
