Bronx trio The Legion made an appearance on RIOC to discuss the latest album The Lost Tapes since the group’s debut in 1993. Originally signed to Dres’ (Black Sheep) imprint One Love, The Legion became popular from their first single “Jingle Jangle”. Chucky Smash, Molecules, and Cee-Low followed up with their 1994 debut album Theme + Echo = Krill. The Lost Tapes is a compilation of rare and unreleased songs spanning two decades, from 1993 to 2014. The project includes 20 tracks of unreleased and instrumental material, as well as three brand new songs. Production was handled by The Legion itself, as well as Buckwild, Showbiz, and Confidence. Guest features over the years include E-Dub, Droopy Dog, Ralo Square, and Dres. The Lost Tapes is available on vinyl, cassette, and CD, and can be purchased here.
