Evidence, Rakaa, and DJ Babu are Los Angeles veterans of hip hop culture. Together they form the legendary hip hop group Dilated Peoples that have been leaders in the underground movement and leaders in creating their own sound. In this interview with DJ Eclipse, Dilated describes what makes Directors Of Photography a unique album from their recent projects. They recorded one song set the standard of quality for the rest of the tracks, and their decision to make a sound that the fans would like ultimately led to them making honest music that they enjoyed.
