Mikey D’Struction was a rapper from Queens in the 80s, known for his fierce battling ability. He was supposed to battle LL Cool J one day, who was formerly known as J-Ski, and instead the two became friendly and compared notes upon meeting. Mikey and LL were known around Queens for having similar voices and aggressive delivery. Mikey admits his priorities at the time were to hang around his neighborhood with his friends instead of pursue a serious career in music. However, in 2016, Mikey has returned to release his latest solo album, Day Of D’Struction. Fully produced by Ligalize from Russia, the album includes features from Chris Rivers, Canibus, R.A.
